Redding VLD Seating Stem 6.5mm
The Redding Competitive Seating Dies for bottleneck cases are supplied with a free-floating seat stem that works well with the most common rounds available for the particular caliber. Redding also offers these VLD seat stems for use with various popular VLD style rounds.
The ogive angle on these bullets is substantially shallower, and they may actually bottom out in the conventional seat plug. VLD Seat plugs have an appropriate internal contact angle and a smaller diameter in general to engage a VLD bullet in a more effective location for good seating.
