The Barnes Tipped TSX is made of 100% copper and has rings carved into the shank. A polymer tip increases long-range ballistics and enables quick expansion while increasing the ballistic coefficient. The bullet diameter is doubled by the four razor-sharp cutting petals, resulting in "dead right there" performance.
Barnes' innovative bullets are composed entirely of copper and do not include any lead. Barnes suggests seating rounds 0.050" off the lands at first, with best accuracy finding between 0.030" and 0.070" off the lands, depending on the rifle. This is not loaded ammo.
