Description

Sierra Gameking 7mm .284 160gr Spitzer BT #1920

The 160-grain #1920 Spitzer Boat Tail is a long-range big game bullet designed for rifles that offer great accuracy, a high ballistic coefficient, a flat trajectory, and high retained energies downrange. It's compatible with all 7mm rifle cartridges, but it's especially useful in magnums. Only cartridges capable of pushing this bullet at a muzzle velocity of at least 2400 fps, such as the 7mm-08 Remington, are recommended for hunting.

FAQs

Q: What game is this bullet suitable for?
A: It is ideal for medium to large game such as deer and pigs, with sufficient weight and design for effective terminal performance.

Q: What makes the GameKing design effective?
A: The boat tail reduces drag, improving velocity retention, trajectory, and wind resistance compared to flat-base bullets.

Q: Is this suitable for long-range hunting?
A: Yes, the high ballistic coefficient and aerodynamic profile make it well-suited for extended distances.

Q: Is this a bonded bullet?
A: No, it is a traditional cup-and-core design, offering reliable expansion but not the same weight retention as bonded or monolithic bullets.
