Description

Sierra 338cal .338dia 250gr HPBT Match 2650

This bullet is intended for rifles firing magnum cartridges such as the 338 Winchester Magnum and 338-378 Weatherby, and is developed in the MatchKing® tradition and manufactured to MatchKing standards. This bullet will perform well in barrels with a twist rate of 112′′ in 338 Winchester Magnum.

MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications, despite their worldwide reputation for record-breaking accuracy. Despite the fact that MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing bullets are often employed for varmint hunting, their design does not give the same consistent explosive expansion in varmints as their thinly jacketed Hornet, Blitz, or Varminter counterparts at equal velocities.
