FAQs

Q: Why is 220gr so popular in .300 Blackout?
A: Its heavy weight allows stable subsonic velocities, making it ideal for suppressed shooting setups.

Q: Does heavier mean more accurate?
A: Not necessarily—but heavier bullets like this can offer better stability and reduced wind drift at long range.

Q: What twist rate do I need?
A: Typically 1:10" or faster to properly stabilize the long 220gr projectile.

Q: Is this good for beginners?
A: Best for experienced reloaders or precision shooters, as heavy bullets require careful load development.
