For rifles, this Bullet was designed with the precise characteristic MatchKing bullets to expand explosively in varmints and little game. The nose ends of the bullets are made from an exclusive acetyl resin compound and the sharp tips increase the ballistic coefficient over the traditional Spitzer flat-base blades. In comparison to a flat-base design in the bullet weights, this bullet has a boat tail to further increase ballistic coefficient. All of the 22 caliber BlitzKing balloons are designed to be shot up to 4400 fps at muzzle speeds.
For handguns, these BlitzKing bullets are especially effective in varmints and small game for the full range of centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. They have excellent precision, a flat trajectory and excellent expansion even with smaller cartridges for small animals. This bullet is recommended for cartridges with moderate capacity, such as the 222 Remington and the 223 Remington in pistons.
