Description

Miroku Firing Pin Set

A top and bottom barrel firing pin are included in this kit. These firing pins were created to address the issues of light primer strikes, failures to fire, and firing pin chipping caused by hard primers.

Top and bottom barrel replacement pins.
Fits Models MK-70, MK-10 & MK-38

Best Suited For

  • Miroku over-and-under shotguns
    • MK38, MK70, 6000 series, etc.
  • Firearms manufactured by Miroku for:
    • Browning (e.g. Citori-style platforms)
  • Gunsmiths or experienced users performing maintenance or repairs

Ideal for:

  • Competition shooters (trap, skeet, sporting clays)
  • High-volume shooters
  • Owners of older or heavily used shotguns

When To Use It

Replace or install a firing pin set when:

  • Experiencing light primer strikes or misfires
  • A firing pin is broken, chipped, or worn
  • Performing preventative maintenance on high-round-count firearms
  • Restoring or refurbishing older Miroku shotguns

Real-world user insight highlights this:

“the firing pin broke and I couldn’t find a replacement”

This reflects that while Miroku firearms are high quality, wear parts like firing pins eventually require replacement, especially in older models.

FAQs

Are Miroku firing pins the same as Browning Citori?
Often similar or interchangeable due to shared manufacturing, but always verify exact model compatibility.

How long do firing pins last?
They can last tens of thousands of rounds, but lifespan depends on usage and maintenance.

Can I replace them myself?
Possible for experienced users, but installation can be complex—gunsmith installation is recommended.

What causes firing pin failure?

  • Metal fatigue
  • Dry firing (in some firearms)
  • High round counts
  • Poor maintenance

Are parts easy to find?
For newer models, yes. For older models, availability can be limited or require custom fitting—something echoed in user discussions.
