Description

Hornady ELD-X 25cal 110gr x100 25418

The ELD-X bullet is a state-of-the-art, match accurate, ALL-RANGE hunting bullet that boasts the greatest ballistic coefficients in its class and constant, controlled expansion at ALL realistic hunting distances.

The Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet upon low-velocity 400+ yard hits to begin expansion. The bullet's conventional expansion, huge mushroom, and weight retention of between 85 and 90 percent allow for deep penetration and sizable wound cavities.

BEST-IN-CLASS BCS
The Heat Shield® tip, as demonstrated by Doppler radar, is resistant to the effects of aerodynamic heating and keeps its form to maintain the highest-in-class BC throughout its trajectory.

ACCURATE HUNTING BULLET
Significantly improved aerodynamic efficiency is achieved by combining a highly concentric AMP® bullet jacket, a streamlined secant ogive, and a Heat Shield® tip.

DEVASTATING CONVENTIONAL RANGE PERFORMANCE
High velocity contact at 0-400 yards causes the bullet's trajectory to continuously extend. The core and jacket are kept together by the robust jacket shank and high InterLock® ring, which results in 50–60% weight retention.
