Hornady 22 cal Expander Ball 396276

This Hornady unique offers exceptionally smooth neck sizing and considerably lessens friction and case neck stretch, making it superior to "ball expanders." Internal threading keeps it from coming undone, and the elliptical expander does away with the requirement for a different expander die when necking up to a higher caliber.

Your Hornady dies will contain a retainer for the decapping pin that is only utilized in bottleneck cartridges. The expander will typically be.001" smaller than the bullet's caliber diameter. (For instance, a.223" expander would be used with a.224" diameter bullet.)
