Mounting the NO. 4 adapter requires 2 inches of clear barrel space. Fits barrels with diameters ranging from.550 to.812. Single-shot pistols are the best candidates for this application. It requires a barrel that is 6 inches or longer. Bipod legs can fold backward thanks to the hinged mounting bracket. Shoulder guns are not recommended. The use of bipods on rifle barrels may reduce accuracy.
