Specifications

Description

ADI AR2209 4kg

A good fine-grained, moderately slow-burning rifle powder for 22-250, .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, 30-06, and 300 Winchester Magnum cartridges. It has a similar burning rate to IMR 4350, but its bulk density is slightly higher and its metering through a powder loader is superior.

Best Suited For

  • Rifle cartridge reloading applications where AR2209 is specified
  • Experienced reloaders following published load data
  • Reloaders who require a larger quantity of consistent rifle propellant
  • Suitable magnum and other rifle cartridges covered by current load data

When To Use It

Use AR2209 only for cartridges and loads specifically covered by reliable, current load data. Powder selection should be based on the exact cartridge, projectile and other components being used. Do not substitute AR2209 for another powder simply because the powders have similar burn characteristics.
