The 455 American Stainless, our first stainless rimfire, is designed to be a tough, long-lasting rifle that can be passed down through the generations. Both the barrel and the action are finished in a matte bead blast, much like the rest of our 455 rifles. The bolt and bolt handle are coated in a tough black nitride, and the barrel is 20.5 inches long.
The CZ 455 is the most recent generation of CZ's bolt action rimfire rifles. All of the receivers currently utilized in the 452 line will be consolidated onto one common platform in the 455 model. This, paired with the CZ 455's innovative interchangeable barrel system, will make it simple to alter the stock configuration as well as the rifle's caliber. The adjustable trigger, hammer forged barrel, and billet machined receiver from the CZ 452 are all retained in the 455. New manufacturing technologies and tighter tolerances for increased precision and smoother performance are among the benefits of the 455. The 455 models feature an integral 11mm dovetail for scope mounting and a 5-round magazine.
All the main parts of the anti-corrosion model CZ 455 Stainless are made of stainless steel and the bolt and small parts are treated with the anti-corrosion arcor finish. The attractive black/green polymer stock is finished in soft-touch.
This version of the popular CZ 455 rimfire rifle has much improved weather resistance, particularly against moisture. It was made possible by the widespread use of stainless steel, as well as the ARCOR surface treatment, which is based on salt bath nitriding and is extremely durable and abrasion resistant. The stock is constructed of a tough polymer reinforced with glass fibre. It offers a soft-touch finish for enhanced user comfort. The end result is a visually appealing weapon that may be used in a variety of weather circumstances.
