We decided to focus on one thing: quality, despite the fact that there are many weapons on the market today. The desire to extend the quality that Bergara was known for in the bespoke rifle market to production rifles built for all hunters motivated our B-14 rifles. The B-14 rifle has a level of quality that is unmatched by any other factory hunting rifle on the market.
The integrated mini-chassis molded into the stock of the B-14 HMR rifle provides reliable bedding and accuracy. It also allows for a totally free-floating barrel for maximum precision. The Bergara Hunting and Match rifles are designed to be a versatile weapon that can be used by both hunters and competition shooters. The stock has a cheekpiece that can be adjusted as well as pull spacers that can be adjusted in length. This rifle is built in Spain in our highly automated and efficient barrel plant, and it offers unrivaled quality and performance in its price category.
On this long-range precision rifle, the world-renowned Bergara barrel is complemented by our own super-smooth B-14 Action, which is a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to assure smooth cartridge feeding and extraction. It also has a Bergara curved trigger that we created to ensure a crisp, clean pull every time the rifle is fired. The trigger is set to about three pounds by default. It has been drilled and tapped at the manufacturer to fit Remington 700 type rings and bases.
