Other manufacturers' thin-plated complete metal jackets are readily deformed and frequently shatter or split when the bullet hits the target. The Hornady AMP bullet jacket has a near-zero concentricity tolerance and a near-zero wall thickness variation, allowing it to punch through targets without deforming or fracturing.
