Berger Classic Hunter Bullets have an industry-leading hybrid ogive that combines tangent and secant designs to improve efficiency, reduce wind drift, and lessen sensitivity to seating depth. The Classic Hunter Bullets are designed for magazine use and may be simply reloaded to SAAMI specs. Excellent for manufacturing rifle applications requiring quick follow-up rounds. For quick expansion on game animals, Classic Hunters use a thinner J4 Precision Jacket. Classic Hunters are designed to pierce 2-3 inches and then expand to form a large wound cavity up to 15 inches in diameter. Most creatures die as a result of the hydrostatic stress.
