Berger's VLD Hunting Bullet is one of the industry's flattest shooting hunting bullets. VLD Hunting Bullets have the same design as VLD Target Bullets, but they have a thinner J4 Precision jacket for faster expansion in game. VLD Hunting Bullets are designed to pierce 2-3 inches and then expand to generate a large wound cavity up to 15 inches in diameter. Most creatures die as a result of the hydrostatic stress. VLD Hunting Bullets have a secant ogive design that allows the bullet to go faster to the target with less drag.
