The Nosler Partition Bullet, first introduced in 1948, is the gold standard by which all others are judged. The Partition's accuracy, controlled expansion, and weight retention in any caliber, on every game, and in any situation have made it a worldwide favorite. It all starts with Nosler's copper alloy jacket, which is entirely tapered. Although the thin jacket mouth is designed to burst instantaneously, the progressive thickening along the bullet's axis limits expansion and bends the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocity. At practically all impact velocities, the Partition's dual-core structure combined with the specific lead-alloy core delivers outstanding mushrooming properties.
Every Partition bullet in the range demonstrates Nosler's technical efforts, with optimal length, weight, and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance. The integrated Partition holds the mushroom in place and protects the rear lead-alloy core, which retains more than two-thirds of its original weight, making it perfect for deep penetration. Finally, Nosler adds strength to each Partition with specific crimp locks to prevent distortion under the strain of hefty magnums. At the manufacturer, each bullet is visually inspected before being sealed in the box until you open it. Bullets from Nosler Partition come in 25 and 50 count boxes.
