They begin with a swaged lead core and are electroplated with copper to their full weight, resulting in no lead exposure. They are then re-struck to exact specifications, assuring a strong connection and consistency with each round. Load data for our Superior Plated Bullets® can be obtained in any manual or on the website of any powder manufacturer. With our bullets, cast or jacketed data with the same grain weight and profile will function. You can use a taper or a roll crimp. After seated, avoid over-crimping the brass. This results in bullet core separation, which produces greater copper fouling and accuracy difficulties. Don't go faster than the maximum velocity mentioned. As a result, bullet core separation and accuracy concerns arise.
