Description
In rifle cartridges, these bullets are highly recommended when good expansion and deep penetration in medium and heavy game is required at close to medium range. These bullets give extreme precision due to their short length for their weight. This short length for a given weight allows a rifle barrel to stabilize a significantly heavier round barrel bullet than would be possible with a Spitzer point bullet of the same weight, which would be significantly longer. If the shots are fast and close or the game is big and dangerous, these are the bullets to choose from. Sierra 180gr #2170 is suitable for large game but will also perform well on larger deer.
