The core and jacket of the Hornady® InterBond® bullet are held together with a patented bonding method. Unlike partitioned or dual-core bullets, which allow the front core to separate from the bullet mass, the InterBond® bullet remains a single destructive mass that produces a deep, wide wound channel without over-penetrating.
InterBond® bullets retain more than 90% of their mass, even when passing through tough hide and bones, thanks to the bonding process and a thicker, stiffer jacket. Plus, for optimal energy transfer, they expand to more than twice their original diameter right away.
