Description

Sierra 25cal 100gr Gameking SBT #1625

The 100-grain #1625 Spitzer Boat Tail bullet is suited to large varmints and small and medium game. It features excellent accuracy and dependable expansion at longer ranges in those game animals. The 100-grain #1625 GameKing can be used at all ranges but is best utilized when ranges of shots exceed 200 yards. As with the Pro-Hunter bullet, this GameKing bullet has a jacket produced by Sierra’s unique four-station jacket draw process. This process produces jackets with maximum concentricity and uniformity together with uniform taper dimensions, resulting in bullets with extraordinary accuracy, dependable expansion, and deep penetration on medium game.

When To Use It

  • You are loading for .25 caliber hunting rifles
  • Shooting at medium ranges (100–400+ yards)
  • You want:
    • Good balance of expansion and accuracy
    • A traditional, proven deer bullet design

Best performance conditions:

FAQs

Q: Is this bullet good for deer hunting?

Q: How does it compare to bonded bullets?
A: It expands more easily but may retain less weight, meaning less penetration on heavy animals.

Q: Is it accurate?
A: Yes—GameKings are widely regarded as very accurate hunting bullets.

Q: Can it be used for long-range hunting?
A: Yes—the boat tail design helps maintain velocity and stability at distance.
