Nosler Custom Competition Projectiles for X Rings
One Shot and Watch 'em Drop
The Ballistic Tip® bullet, which was first introduced in 1984, is one of the most well-known hunting bullets on the market today. There have been many imitators, but only one bullet may be labeled as Ballistic Tip®. For thin-skinned species like antelope, deer, and sheep, the hunting Ballistic Tip bullet is a good choice. The more you hunt, the more you realize how cruel and unpredictable nature is. This is why Nosler designed the Ballistic Tip Hunting bullet to be exceptionally forgiving and predictable.
Ballistic Tip bullets give the kind of accuracy, consistency, and down range punch essential for taking down that buck or goat in any situation, whether you're targeting whitetails, blacktails, mulies, or pronghorn. The Ballistic Tip bullets' combination of performance and consistency, as well as their versatility, has resulted in over 25 years of successful hunts for sportsmen across the country and around the world.
The Nosler Ballistic Tip is where it all begins. The tip is constructed of polymer and color-coded according to the caliber. It's made to withstand deformation in the magazine and to expand upon impact. The jacket's complete taper provides for regulated expansion. As it disperses into the target, the unique lead alloy core that has made Nosler Ballistic Tip famous improves terminal performance. The end consequence is weight retention of 50-60% and complete terminal performance.
The Nosler Ballistic Tip's final features include the strong jacketed base that serves as a platform for a big diameter mushroom, as well as the Nosler Solid Base®. The bullet's solid base allows it to endure high speeds, but the boat tail design, along with the polymer tip, provides great long-range accuracy and makes hand loading easier. At the manufacturer, each bullet is visually inspected before being sealed in the box until you open it. 50-count packs of Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting rounds are available.
