FAQs

Q: Why use .314" bullets?
Some firearms—especially older or military rifles—have larger groove diameters. A .314" bullet can improve:

  • Bore seal
  • Accuracy
  • Consistency

Q: Can I use this for .308 or .311 rifles?
No, unless your bore specifically measures larger. Using oversized bullets in a tighter bore may increase pressure dangerously.

Q: Do I need lubrication before sizing?
Yes, for cast bullets. Powder-coated bullets may not need additional lube.

Q: Will this improve accuracy?
Yes—proper bullet fit reduces gas blow-by and stabilizes velocity.

Q: Does it work with all presses?
Yes, it fits standard presses with 7/8"-14 threading.

Delivery and Compliance

  • Considered a non-controlled reloading accessory
  • Generally legal to import and own in New Zealand
  • No firearms licence typically required
