These cases are specially modified to work with Lock-N-Load Precision gauges. A special fine thread is used to attach them to the gauges ensuring that they remain perfectly square for precise alignment in the chamber of your firearm. Second the neck of the case is made perfectly round and opened slightly to allow a standard-diameter bullet to slip into the case mouth effortlessly but concentrically to ensure the most precise results possible.

Q: Can I reload and fire this case?
No. It is a modified measuring tool and must not be used for firing.
Q: Will it work in all .308 rifles?
It works in most standard chambers. Slight differences in chamber dimensions may affect measurements, which is normal.
Q: Do I need other tools with this?
Yes. You’ll need the Hornady OAL Gauge and calipers or a bullet comparator to record measurements accurately.
Q: How accurate is it?
It provides highly repeatable measurements, typically within about 0.001 inch when used correctly.
