The Talley Lightweight Alloy Scope Mount is a one-piece structure. The sight and the rifle have no connection because of the rigid design. Traditional two-piece designs can have an "out of alignment" interface or a "loose connection" between the ring and the base, but not with the Talley Lightweight unitized design.
