Schmidt & Bender 2.5-10x40 Summit is designed similarly to the 2.5-10x56 Summit, but it is smaller and lighter, making it suitable for stalking and mountain hunting. It has excellent long-distance and close-range capabilities. Schmidt & Bender Klassik riflescopes are intended for hunters who want high quality in a traditional design but do not need an illuminated reticle. They work effectively in low-light situations and at twilight or dawn. The reticle is positioned in the first focus plane and changes size with magnification.
All Schmidt & Bender Klassik series riflescopes are waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen for easy use at low temperatures. All lens surfaces are multi coated and the construction ensures safe use on even the most powerful hunting rifles. Schmidt & Bender Klassik riflescopes have a warranty period of 10 years and an additional 20 years guarantee for service and maintenance.
