Q: What magnification range does the VX-Freedom offer?
A: It provides a versatile 4-12x magnification range.
Q: What reticle does this model use?
A: It uses Leupold's Hunt-Plex reticle in the second focal plane.
Q: What size scope rings are required?
A: The scope uses a 1-inch maintube, so compatible 1-inch rings or mounts are required.
Q: Does the Hunt-Plex reticle provide a clear aiming point?
A: Yes. It features bold tapered pickets with an open centre and a fine centre line for precise aiming.
Q: Is the reticle illuminated?
A: No. The #185336 uses a non-illuminated Hunt-Plex reticle.
Q: Does it have adjustable parallax?
A: The scope uses a fixed 150-yard parallax-free distance rather than an adjustable side-focus system.
Q: Is the scope lightweight?
A: Yes. It weighs approximately 13.1 oz, making it a practical option where keeping overall rifle weight down is important.
