Leupold 10x42mm Acadia BX 2 Binoculars
The 10x42 BX-2 Acadia Binocular from Leupold features phase-corrected and dielectric-coated BAK 4 roof prisms, as well as anti-reflection completely multi-coated optics, to deliver crisp and clear high-contrast images with little distortion and accurate color rendering. The 10x magnification is great for resolving detail in dense brush or at long distances when precise identification is required. The traditional drawbacks of higher power binoculars, such as obvious hand-shake, are almost overcome with a comfortable 15.5mm eye relief and wide 70° apparent angle of vision.
The housing is designed for the rigors of constant outdoor use, with a black armored shell that protects the binocular from drops and impacts, and a textured surface that gives a slip-resistant grip. When moving through extreme temperature changes or conditions, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring-sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging. The Acadia is a comfortable and easy-to-use optic that is tripod-mountable with an optional adapter, with twist-up eyecups, and a locking right-eye dioptric adjustment.
