The Timney trigger for the Ruger 1022 will surely set the bar for future aftermarket trigger improvements. The new Timney Trigger for the Ruger 1022 is a complete action replacement with a one-piece action made of CNC machined 6061-T6 aircraft quality billet aluminum. For further durability, the trigger, sear, and hammer are wire EDM cut and heat-treated steel. To install the new Timney complete trigger assembly, remove the two action pins and “drop in” the new Timney complete trigger assembly. The new Timney Trigger features a Timney-designed extended magazine release that can be operated by one finger for exceptional ease and accessibility. It also has an auto bolt release as standard. Each full action replacement is manually constructed, calibrated, and tested for a lifetime of reliable performance, just like all Timney Triggers made in the United States. The factory setting for the trigger is 2 3/4 pounds with no creep.
