Medalist Stocks from Bell & Carlson were created from the ground up to help maximize a rifle's performance by offering a rock-solid, ergonomic firing platform with the accuracy-enhancing features sought by today's serious shooters and the durability required for usage in severe environments. To increase strength, all Medalist stocks are made of strong structural urethane mixed with aramid, graphite, and fiberglass components. A CNC-machined Aluminum Bedding Block contacts the entire length of the rifle's action, ensuring a precise metal-to-metal connection and acting to align the barreled action, stiffen the forend, and eliminate the need for traditional bedding methods. Medalist stocks have a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, front and rear sling swivel studs, and a textured external surface. A lifetime manufacturing guarantee on materials and workmanship is included with the stock.
