When combined with Warne Maxima QD Rings, the shooter can use the open sights by peering over the tops of the bases without abandoning the conventional shooting stance behind the rifle. Each Maxima Base also has a full-width recoil slot. This function enables Warne Rings' recoil control keys to achieve maximum bearing surface.
