This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous. Our Remington 700 Long Action mount has a bolt layout that suits Long Action Remington 700 rifles. Our F-Class mounts are extended out the front to allow for prone shooting and to support extraordinarily long scopes. Despite what you may have heard, the Remington 700 mount will NOT fit your Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard. Although the bolt pattern is similar, the rest of the mount (ejection port, length, and so on) renders it worthless on these two rifles. This mount is made of 6061 aluminum that has been machined to perfection.
