A straight-fluted stainless steel barrel is standard on the Deluxe model. This barrel comes complete with a removable 32 Hole Compensator installed. The fluting will help remove weight and dissipate heat faster. The 32 Hole Compensator is designed to get you back on your second shot faster.
The barrel is where we start when trying to get bolt action accuracy out of a semi-auto. Match bore and chamber tolerances can be found on our stainless steel barrels. These measurements, which are exclusive to Volquartsen, have developed during more than 25 years of testing. Each barrel must match our exacting standards, which are ensured by digital gauging equipment.
