The choke on a shotgun is intended to shape how the shot spreads after the trigger is pulled. As a result, your shots will be more accurate and have a greater range. The choke is installed in the shotgun barrel's bore, which is located at the muzzle end. A choke can be installed in two ways on a shotgun.
