The Savage® Rascal ™ Single Shot Rimfire Youth Rifle has a synthetic shaft and steel barrel with dimensions specially designed for young shooters. The Rascal single shot rifle works with short, long and long .22 rimfire cartridges. A height-adjustable side peep visor and Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger® allow Rascal shooters to achieve exceptional precision. A lever mounted on the body of the AccuTrigger will lock the trigger unless it is deliberately squeezed in the middle, greatly reducing the risk of accidental activation. A large loading opening makes it easy to feed individual cartridges into the chamber and the large 2-stage safety switch increases the safety of young shooters. The bolt can be synchronized for loading and unloading when the safety device is activated. The Rascal Single Shot Rimfire Youth Rifle is a first-class training device for teaching young shooters about gun safety and accuracy.
