The XTP bullets used in the Subsonic Handgun are tried and proven, expanding consistently at subsonic speeds. The lead core in the Sub-X bullet used in Subsonic Rifle is unique. Long grooves in the bullet's gilding metal jacket, combined with the flat profile of the bullet and the unique Flex Tip insert within the hollowpoint cavity, help it expand reliably at low speeds.
