The Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a drop-in replacement for the stock recoil rod that does not alter the gun's design. The multi-spring complex rod (three springs) that regulates the gun's operation is what makes this system work. The third spring, which is housed within the rod, controls the slide's movement and ensures that it never slams into the frame. This system also has four distinct external springs. When the slide is on the battery, the springs are different lengths, with the longest being heavier, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the weapon to his or her specific standards.
