The.22 BL, with its short movement action-lever (33°), external hammer, and magazine tube, is a treasure of the pioneer age, back in the Wild West. It allows you to mix various sorts of cartridges without fear of jamming (long, long rifles, short).
Not your grandpa's 22. However, it appears to be the case. The walnut is lovely, and the engraving is excellent. The checkering is quite sharply cut. The octagon barrel, though, is what distinguishes these 22 rifles. The word FLD stands for Full Line Dealer. It's crucial to know because they're only sold by a small number of Browning dealers. Feature rich. There are other 22 rimfire lever-action rifles on the market, but none have the features, reliability, quality, or accuracy of the BL-22. The BL-22's standout feature is the low 33° lever throw, which makes cycling faster for adults and easier for younger shooters. The BL-22's easy-to-load tubular magazine may contain any combination of 22 short, long, and long rifle rounds, all of which are available. Unlike some other 22s, the BL-22 has a level of quality that is comparable to other Browning rifles.
