The Ruger Rapid Deploy folding rear view enables wind adjustment for a robust, reliable pointing system with an elevation adjustable front view. The rear vision can be plexed away from the way optics can be made available, but can be replicated instantaneously if necessary. Cold hammer forged steel barrel 4140 chromium moly, with a highly accurate rifling, offers remarkable precision, longevity and easy cleaning. The 1:8" twist rate stabilizes balloons from 35 to 77 grains and both 5.56 NATO and |223 Rem. ammunition are permitted by the 5.56 NATO Chamber. M4 feed ramps provide better reliability and the matte black oxide coating eliminates lightning and provides resistance to corrosion.
The flattop upper receptor is made from 7075-T6 forging of aluminum and contains a front support, dust and brass float cover and is anodized to a maximal durability with a hard layer of type III. forging. The bolt is made from 9310 alloy steel and is tested for resistance, structural integrity and durability by shoot peening and pressure (evidence).
Patent pending Barrel Nut and Delta Ring are designed for one person handguard removal and installation. The design accepts most standard carbine length handguards. The barrel nut uses a standard wrench and can be swapped with a Mil-Spec barrel nut if desired.
Milled gas block is located at a carbine-length (M4) position for improved balance and handling. Multiple attachment points include a QD socket and bayonet lug, for many sling and accessory mounting options. Serrations on the angled face of the gas block provide a low-glare surface.
Inside diameter, Chrome-plated bolt carrier and chrome plated gas key give superior hot gas resistance. The gas key is stacked so that after extensive shooting it will not loosen. The bolt carriers are resistant to corrosion with a matte black oxide coating.
The one-stage trigger offers lasting and dependable firing control. The extended trigger guard is designed for glove fire. Handguards are composed of glass-filled heat resistant nylon for comfort and durability shoots.
