The Tipped TSX has a 100% copper body with rings carved into the shank. A polymer tip increases ballistic coefficient, enhances long-range ballistics, and allows for rapid expansion. The four razor-sharp cutting petals double the bullet diameter, resulting in a "dead right there" performance.
Barnes' groundbreaking bullets are constructed entirely of copper and contain no lead. Barnes suggests seating rounds 0.050" off the lands at first, with best accuracy ranging from 0.030" to 0.070" depending on the rifle. This is not loaded ammo.
