A red-dot lighted reticle and a high-transmission clear notch filter coating The reticle includes a 2 MOA brilliant red dot and a 65 MOA circle, as well as eleven illumination levels for daytime target acquisition and two low-light settings for night vision equipment.
You can turn on the red dot and the circle independently or together. The illumination circuit also includes a Motion-Activated Illumination function (MOTAC), which increases brightness when motion is detected and decreases brightness when motion is detected. In typical use, it also helps to increase the battery life to 50,000 hours. In addition, the optical qualities allow for an infinite amount of eye relief. This sight also has a top-mounted solar cell to prolong the battery life even further and enable for battery-free operation.
The housing is CNC-machined from a single piece of aluminum to withstand the worst battlefield conditions. It also has waterproof and fogproof properties. The windage and elevation knobs are knurled for a secure grip, and the windage and elevation ranges are 100 MOA with 1/2 MOA increments. A regular Torx Picatinny mount and an absolute co-witness Picatinny fast detach riser mount are available for the sight. The Picatinny co-witness mount has a see-through base for accurate sighting and raises the optical axis to 1.41" above the rail.
