The Nosler Partition Bullet, introduced in 1948, is the gold standard against which all others are measured. The Partition has a legendary level of accuracy, controlled expansion, and weight retention in any caliber, on every game, and in any situation. Everything starts with Nosler's fully tapered copper alloy jacket. Although the thin jacket mouth is designed to burst instantaneously, the progressive thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and bends the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocity. The Partition's dual-core structure, combined with the specific lead-alloy core, gives outstanding mushrooming properties at nearly all impact velocities

Every Partition bullet in the range has the ideal length, weight, and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance, demonstrating Nosler's engineering efforts. The integrated Partition holds the mushroom in place and protects the rear lead-alloy core, which retains more than two-thirds of its original weight and is suitable for deep penetration. Finally, Nosler adds strength to each Partition with specific crimp locks to prevent distortion under the weight of hefty magnums. At the manufacturer, each bullet is visually inspected before being packed in a box until you open it.
