Description
Nikon is designed for minimum weight and maximum strength and durability. Nikon manufactures these glasses from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and uses larger internal lenses for maximum resolution. Larger tubes provide better resolution, greater drift and altitude travel, and superior low-light performance. Reticle adjustments are made in 1/8 MOA clicks that you can both feel and hear, and there's no room to drag your shot off target. Positive per-click reticle settings allow you to zero faster and maintain your adjustment even with repeated setbacks and in difficult conditions.
To simplify field adjustments, Nikon has built this feature into all of the MONARCH 3's rifle scopes. Aim 100 meters as usual, then lift the adjustment knob, turn to your "zero" and reset. Nikon designed the entire optical system to provide the shooter with a clear, sharp and incredibly flat field of view and light transmission up to the theoretical maximum of 95% for a clear view from dawn to dusk. The MONARCH 3 Series is optimized for use with Nikon Spot On Ballistic Match technology. Spot On allows you to discover all the exact target points on the BDC reticle for your exact ammunition and payload.
The different target points built into the BDC reticle can be used with Nikon's Spot On ballistic matching technology to give you exact target points at different distances. Take the guesswork out of determining height and ball drop compensation.
