Steel Quick Release (QR) rings and bases from Leupold make it simple to remove and replace your optic while maintaining zero (+/-14 MOA). The QR mounting method uses a proprietary lever mechanism that attaches the steel base to the ring by pulling it down and forward, locking it into place. It's notably popular for muzzleloaders and big-caliber rifles.
