Description

Ars Mechanica, a history of Fabrique Nationale (FN), has been in the works for more than five years. Ars Mechanica was often considered to be an update to Auguste Francotte and Claude Gaier's FN 100 Years... Any connection to prior FN history books, on the other hand, is only cosmetic. The most complete and comprehensive work on the subject is Ars Mechanica. Many people will be pleasantly surprised with Ars Mechanica, which will far exceed their expectations.

The book is unique in that it tells the story of FN's rich past. The term "The Ultimate FN Book" isn't just a catchphrase. Ars Mechanica is a visual feast for any FN and Browning collector, with over a thousand photos, many of which have never been seen before. It will introduce FN not only as the ultimate guns manufacturer, but also as a manufacturer of bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles, among many other successful product lines.

These products, like the FN-branded arms, were examples of technical brilliance. FN's automotive goods have set a number of world speed records and continue to pique collectors' interest in motorcycles and automobiles. This huge all-color volume reflects years of laborious labour. We looked at one of the working drafts a few months back, and Ars Mechanica accounted for about 510 color pages at the time.
