Berger Elite Hunter Bullets have an industry-leading hybrid ogive that combines tangent and secant designs to improve efficiency, reduce wind drift, and lessen sensitivity to seating depth. Elite Hunter Bullets are similar to Berger Hybrid Target Bullets in manufacturing, shape, and performance, with the exception of a thinner J4 Precision Jacket for quick expansion on game animals. Elite Hunters are meant to penetrate 2-3 inches and then expand to create a large wound chamber up to 15 inches in diameter. Most creatures die as a result of the hydrostatic stress.
