Superior quality optics, a high-transmission clear notch filter coating, and a red-dot illuminated reticle are all included in Sig Sauer's battle-ready Romeo4H Compact Red-Dot Sight. The reticle includes a 2 MOA brilliant red dot within a larger circle, as well as multiple illumination settings for daytime target acquisition and two low-light settings for night vision equipment.
You can turn on the red dot and the circle independently, concurrently, or with holdover dots. The illumination circuit also includes a Motion-Activated Illumination function (MOTAC), which increases brightness when motion is detected and decreases brightness when motion is detected. In typical use, it also helps to increase the battery life to 50,000 hours. In addition, the optical qualities allow for an infinite amount of eye relief.
The housing is CNC-machined from a single piece of aluminum to withstand the worst battlefield conditions. It also has waterproof and fog proof properties. The windage and elevation knobs are knurled for a secure grip, and the windage and elevation ranges are 100 MOA with 1/2 MOA increments. A regular Torx Picatinny mount and an absolute co-witness Picatinny QR riser mount are also available for the sight.
