The Leupold 4-12x40 Rifleman Riflescope has a 3x optical system and a flexible 40mm objective, providing up to 12x zooming capability for longer-range shots. Its Multicoat 4 lenses provide excellent image quality, contrast, and brightness from edge to edge. Under the low-profile covers, the scope incorporates 50 MOA windage and elevation turrets with microscopic continuous adjustments to help you handle winds and ballistics. Another highlight is the Rifleman Ballistic Reticle in the second focal plane (RBR).
Four medium tapering posts and a medium crosshair with two ballistic holdover dots under the center characterize this reticle. It's compatible with Leupold's Ballistic Aiming System (BAS), which has holdovers spaced to correlate with large game cartridges for improved long-range accuracy. The fog proof and waterproof anodized aluminum housing are lightweight, robust, and nitrogen-filled. It has a lockable eyepiece and a main tube that fits 1" rings.
