In today's world of modern shooting systems, Wheeler recognizes the need of precision. Due to differing specs from several ring manufacturers, calculating total optic height above a receiver rail is challenging. These risers take the guesswork out of the equation, ensuring a perfect fit for any setup. Wheeler Engineering developed the new Multi-Height Pic Rail System in response to the need to mount optics and accessories at a specific height above a Picatinny rail.
The ability to choose the right riser for the job allows for flawless alignment of a scope and a forward-mounted Night Vision Device (NVD). Maintaining the same zero point with a day/night system requires proper alignment of the scope with the NVD. Many fixed mount (no ring) optics might benefit from bespoke riser height configuration as well. The proper height arrangement of lenses and other rail-mounted devices not only improves convenience, but it can also help achieve optimum accuracy. Precision fit and operation are ensured by the CNC-machined aluminum construction with an anodized finish. Each riser is 5.75 inches in length and features three T15 fasteners for optimal mounting strength.
