The Rossi Pomba single shot rifles are very well made. The fit and finish of the metalwork is excellent and the synthetic stocks are good quality with a good 1 inch rubber recoil pad. Slings for slings are also provided. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base and a good set of open sights is supplied from the factory. The action opens via a lever you push down which is located on the right side of the hammer. The rifle takes the shell out of the chamber, making reloading easier. The gun can be easily disassembled making it ideal for hikers and hikers and can be easily tucked away in a daypack or hunting bag. It is virtually impervious to most weather conditions and can be easily cleaned and maintained without worrying about the gun rusting.
